642 Things: Favorite Wine

Digital Art Practice

For the last birthday, I received a copy of 642 Things to Write About, which features blank panels with sketching prompts at the top margin.  Here we have Dee, modeling a pint of Surilie Bros' 399, as featured prominently in Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.

I figure, if Dee visited Tamriel, she'd be a Nord.

Witness Works - Chapter 1.1 "Glooming"

Ugh ... so I finished this and then realized that it was "backwards"; the bottom two panels are read right to left.  Whatever, I may just switch to the Japanese layout, since it feels more natural.

Witness Works - Chapter 1.0 "The Reveal"

In which the Artist is brutally reminded that hands are difficult to draw...

Yeah, Catherine (the woman in red) had a hand originally, but the nature of robes means that I could pretend that it was meant to be hidden all the while.

There may come a day (probably now, actually) that I will rue the quality of this pic.  But then, this is my first foray into 100% digital art, so I'll take it!

Penny Candy Gang

This is a group of Call of Duty inspired mercenaries.  The name just sounded right, we'll see if it goes anywhere.

BOOM!!

I'm hooked on Boom Beach at the moment.  I love the 'Zookas' combined firepower and range - I laughed maniacally the first time they torched a flamethrower bunker!

Such wow....

I started playing WoW a while ago, but since I've only got the free version, my character is stuck at lvl 20...which makes exploring the lvl 20+ areas even more fun!

Can't brag about the image quality - I'm rubbish at Photoshop.  That wheel thing is an especially fun item I earned on a quest for a ghostly sailor.  Even though I've since upgraded to a better shield, I can't bear to part with it.

Witness Works - 2 - Rather Lost

This is inspired by a true story. My sister and I really did get ditched in Flash when our bus driver had specifically agreed to let us off in Upper Hulme, Derbyshire.

Witness Works - 1

While going through some old notebooks I realized that I have left a great many characters floating aimlessly without a story to call home. So I've set up this comic to give them just that. While I will try to make clear when I am using a "guest character" from someone else's work, most of the figures here will be my own...or that's the plan!
